Welcome to the ACM Sigmetrics 2018 Website!

The organizing committee is pleased to invite you to take part in ACM SIGMETRICS 2018 to be held in Irvine, California. ACM SIGMETRICS International Conference on Measurement and Modeling of Computer Systems is the flagship conference of the ACM special interest group for the computer systems performance evaluation community.

The ACM SIGMETRICS conference solicits papers on the development and application of state-of-the-art, broadly applicable analytic, simulation, and measurement-based performance evaluation techniques. Of particular interest is work that furthers the state-of-the-art in performance evaluation methods, or work that creatively applies previously developed methods to understand or gain important insights into key design trade-offs in computer or network systems.

• May 24, 2018: Jim Dai is the recipient of the 2018 SIGMETRICS Achievement Award. The award lecture "Steady-state Approximations" will be held Tue June 19th, 9-10am.

• April 16, 2018: Submissions are open for Work-in-Progress posters (deadline: May 10th, 2018).
• April 12, 2018: Applications are open for student travel grants (deadline: May 10th, 2018).
• April 11, 2018: Registration is now open. Early registration is available until May 21st, 2018.
• March 23, 2018: The conference hotel is Hyatt Regency Newport Beach Hotel.

• March 5, 2018: The tutorials and workshops of SIGMETRICS 2018 have been announced.
