ACM SIGMETRICS 2018
Irvine, California, USA
June 18-22, 2018
We invite submissions to the SIGMETRICS Work-in-Progress (WIP) session. The SIGMETRICS WIP session provides an opportunity to present early-stage, not-yet-ready-for-prime-time research to receive valuable feedback from the community.
Topics must fall within the purview of the SIGMETRICS call for papers. Within these topics, we particularly encourage (but are not limited to) submissions that are pursuing new, perhaps controversial, directions. We also welcome submissions of posters corresponding to results presented at the SIGMETRICS-affiliated workshops. An additional category of posters we invite is about systems published at other conference venues that could benefit from a thorough analytical modeling; in this case, you must clearly explain why the poster is relevant to the SIGMETRICS community.
Submissions will be judged based on their novelty as well as the potential to generate discussions. Early-stage work will be preferred. A good way to think about this is that if you are very close to submitting to SIGMETRICS, OSDI, SOSP, NSDI, (or similar other high profile conferences), you may be past the sweet spot for the WIP.
Format: Submitted posters can be at most 2 pages long, in the 2-column ACM format. Please submit your posters at the following link: https://sigmetrics18wip.hotcrp.com.
Authors of accepted SIGMETRICS WIPs are expected to present at the poster session during the conference. We will also be publishing an issue of PER with all the accepted WIPs.
Please address all questions to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
