Performance Evaluation Review

Performance Evaluation Review (PER) is the quarterly publication of ACM SIGMETRICS. PER is sent to all SIGMETRICS members and is available through the ACM digital library.

PER publishes special issues that are guest edited by a leading researcher in the field. Special issue topics are determined by the guest editors and editor-in-chief. In addition, as space permits, regular papers unrelated to the special issue are also published. Regular contributions include survey articles, position papers, tool descriptions, abstract collections, and early work. Papers published in PER are not copyrighted, and hence can be submitted later to a conference or journal.

PER is edited by: Bo Ji

How to submit a regular contribution

PER solicits regular contributions in all areas of interest to the SIGMETRICS community. A detailed list of topics is available in the latest call for papers of the SIGMETRICS conference.

Paper submissions should be prepared using the PER style files. Regular contributions should not exceed 10 pages, except for tool descriptions that should not exceed 6 pages. Each regular contribution submission must be accompanied by a cover letter explaining why the paper is timely and relevant to the ACM SIGMETRICS community.

The preferred submission method is to email a PDF copy of the paper to the editor. Papers may also be submitted by hardcopy. Send four copies to: Bo Ji, 220 Gilbert Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060, US.
